    To clear, the gentleman who helped me, I do not have his name and he was a pleasure to deal with. My complaint is about the manager, Lamilla. I walked into your Massapequa Park NY location to ship a box to my cousin in FL. My other accompanied me as I couldn't carry the 20+ lb box alone. Lamilla immediately asked what was in the box because it was an old home depot moving box that we had written fragile on. My mother offered to cross off the words fragile and I stayed the box had clothes and hangers in it. The gentleman took me to another register and began the process of reading off the label I wrote. I then presented my airline employee ID as I receive a discount on fedex through an interline agreement. One other employee told me that it only applies to air and not ground which I knew because I've done this a dozen times before. The employee helping me asked for the recipients phone number. As I was balancing the box and holding my employee ID, I didn't have my phone out. My mother proceeded to look up his phone number on her phone. Lamilla came over and said which one of you is the airline employee. I said it's me. She said just so you know the discount is for you and not friends or family. I replied saying yes, I'm shipping this I'm paying for it. She then threatened me saying I'll be writing an email to fedex about what you're doing. I said what am I doing? She then walked away and did not answer my questions. The gentleman helping me finished up and told me her name. I choose to use fedex because I can save a few dollars on shipping. There are other choices and this makes me rethink whether or not saving a few dollars is worth being treated this way and threatened. I am a flight attendant. I work directly in customer service. There is a right and wrong way to treat people and to think this person is a manager is a disgrace. She had an issue with us from the moment we walked in until she decided to walk away mid conversation. She should not be in a managerial role. I never write or complain about people because I deal with serving the public everyday. But I would be remiss to not say anything because she is not fit to be in this role. She is rude, condescending and threatened me in a fedex store, for something I didn't do. I'm disgusted and offended and will think twice before using these services again.
