Even factoring in the larger order, the cost was +34% higher than what it would have been on 3/1/24. The staff member explained that FedEx Corp raised prices on 3/6/2024, and the local store does not set prices. This increase for these cards is exorbitant. I do not fault the staff member at the store; rather, I hope this message is shared with management higher up who are making price gouging decisions and negatively affecting small business/ non-profit organizations.
