- Wednesday, April 3, 20245 out of 5Rating 5.0My Cessna cockpit checklist binder is 24 years old and I wanted to protect the pages and replace the old, brittle, busted plastic comb binder with a heavy coil binder so the pages would not get lost. Many pages were torn around the ring holes. I explained to Tonya that I wanted to laminate every page, add a new coil binder, and restore the binder for pilots to use frequently. Because there were tabs on both the top and side, I had some anxiety that the job would look good, but man, Tonya took the initiative and did an excellent job preserving and protecting our checklists. She carefully trimmed each tab and the binder looks great and is very important for flying safely. Kudos to Tonya! Other old, bold pilots should see this.
