The Birmingham location on 280 is a fantastic store and i's because of their flexibility and speed I pass my location in Hoover to continue to business with them. Also in fairness to Hoover I have never used that location since I have been in town so I am not complaining about them I'm sure they are great.

I came in to get legal briefs bound. I was told that they were busy and was asked to come back. I was told it would be about an hour. I left the briefs with them and went back to work. One hour went by. Then another with no call. 2 hours later I called and was told it would be another 2 hours before they could get to me. I called another manager at another store to ask if I could take the order to another store and was told that I could. Work prevented me from going immediately. About an hour and a half later I got a call that the items were ready. When I got there the first employee tried to check me out. She took my license and I told her that it was not coming from me, it would need to show the sender as my law firm, and that we did not have an account with them. She scanned my license anyway and when it came time to pay, it was showing me as the sender. I told her again that the sender info needed to reflect the business, not me. She asked again if we had an account and I told her no. She said she would need a manager to do it and left me at the desk. I waited for approximately 10 minutes before a senior associate came to help. She went to check me out and the sender was still reflecting me personally. I explained that the sender info needed to reflect the business, and she asked if we had an account. I again answered no and she turned to the previous associate and said she could have processed it for me. That associate lied and said that I said we did have a business account, and that is why she asked the senior associate to help. At that point I was livid. I never said that. I did NOT appreciate being called a liar. I told the senior associate that I did NOT say that to her and she proceeded to fix the order to reflect the law firm I work for as the sender. After some minor problems along the way I finally got to check out. After all this, I wouldn’t have been upset and would have understood if it were going to take longer if someone had just reached out to let me know. I also do NOT appreciate being called a liar by the first associate. I was more than clear with her several times that the sender would need to be the business, and that we didn’t have an account. For her, with me right there, telling her senior associate that I told her we had an account when that was mentioned a couple of times to her was insulting and infuriating. I have always had wonderful experiences there where the employees were kind, attentive, polite, and accommodating. Everyone there that day was rude. I switched to FedEx from utilizing UPS (it’s closer to our office) because of the fantastic customer service. So, I understand that it might have just been a bad day for everyone, but everything went wrong that day. I hope it isn’t a reflection of the way things will be done at this location in the future.

The only complaint we have is the staff never greets you. They are very impersonal. They always seem in a rush. It would be nice to be greeted and spoken to

No issues with store. Fed Ex has lazy employees for home delivery and they will not get their lazy rear out of a vehicle and put packages on porch. They left a new computer by my mailbox during Christmas. It had been raining. UPS and others deliver packages to to your door. Train your employees to be professionals or hire better employees.
