I recently tried your beat the postal rate box and discovered that your normal box rate beat both so that didn’t help me at all. Probably by telling you I’ll end up with a normal box rate increase. Cynical? No it just happens to be what you do.

A brief wait for service, but then an employee asked what I was sending (one Air Express envelope to Portugal, one vendor pre-authorized return of small appliance), guided me to a customer service counter, and walked me through both, including emailing package return docs from my iPhone to the FedEx printer, and through the US Customs forms completion for sending a California Driver’s License air express to Portugal. Agent was clear, and patient with this older customer.

However, there was one anomaly on this particular occasion. FEDEX Staffing was inadequate for the number of customers. Only one FEDEX Member was available at the counter which extended the wait time considerably. However, he was quite pleasant, patient, efficient & very helpful with my shipping quandary.

We had no idea when we walked in if they'd even be able to do the job quickly enough. Had Isaac not been so sweet and helpful I don't know how I would've been able to finish this very important task for the event.
