I could hear the disrespect over the phone. Furthermore, offering a quote for your "standard" paper when all we needed was plain paper felt like a way to simply make more money from our organization. It felt like a slap in the face to the lobbying work we were trying to get done.

When I brought my item in that afternoon, it was $503. When I told the associate helping me that I’d been quoted $108 in the morning, he said the first person I spoke with was just wrong. I needed time to decide whether to spend FOUR HUNDRED DOLLARS more than anticipated, and the associate was quite rude and rushed me after less than a minute even though I was the only person in the store. I understand mistakes happen, but this was a huge one.

This store should be seen as an example of a customer oriented FedEx.
