    In mid-October I visited the FedEx location at 5225 Wisconsin Avenue NW to get an estimate for boxing and shipping a framed photo to San Francisco and back. I was told the boxing would be around $25 and the shipping each way would be around $105. I was also told that the costs could vary when it was actually shipped. On October 28, I went to the same location and was quoted a price for boxing ($24.99) and shipping to San Francisco ($91.77). This was in line with prior estimates. However, when I had completed the entry for the return shipping in the store, the cost of shipping from San Francisco to DC was $284.27 which is nearly three times the original estimated cost and the cost for shipping in the reverse direction. My framed photo had already been boxed and labeled so I could not back out of the transaction. While I have no complaint regarding the staff, I find the last minute increase in the return shipping to be outrageous especially since staff had informed me that the cost in each direction would be comparable. I chose FedEx because the earlier estimates were more reasonable than your major competitor. However, unless I am issued a credit for some portion of the return shipping, this experience dissuades me from choosing FedEx again.

    online-software terrible, failed prepare and print label: local office saved the day with a $13 price vs $43 quoted online. Overall experience with FedEx horrible. Experience in store excellent, using my account.

    It was all self service and I was given unclear instructions as to what to do. I did it wrong the first time, and there is still a pending charge to my credit card for a label thst had to be thrown out. I was extremely dissatisfied with the lack of service I received at this location.

    Everyone st this location is excellent. I walk in the door and everyone FedEx employee says hello to me by name. They always make me feel welcome. The best service I have encountered in a very long time. Love going there. Been using your office for at least 3-4 years or more.

    I dropped a package for overnight delivery on Tuesday afternoon, but it never arrived and I was told it would not be delivered - no explanation why. I asked that it be returned to me and I was told I would receive this morning. It did not arrived, it was sent in another city in another state. I went to my Fedex center and was told it would be corrected. When I called customer service for an update, I was told that the package could not be returned. I went to the FedEx office and someone there called the Newark FedEx office. I was told this afternoon that it would be returned tomorrow. Each time I talked to someone, I was told I would receive a notice. I never received any information. Initial tracking number is 883157314071. Your organization is utterly dysfunctional.

    great experience. online gave me slightly different information than in-store. when i was checking cost online after inputting everything and not checking the box for residential, it says "view signature options" one of which being indirect do i selected it and it updated the cost. so i shared that information with the lawyer in another state who said indirect sounded good. but in the system terri was not given the option for indirect signature. i called back and spoke to msnager to check if that option existed not to slight terri it was just the mail was of extreme importance and time sensitive. manager confirmed what terri said and package was received and processed the next day as needed. again terri nothing personal i appreciate all you did because everything you did got the package to recipient the next day. i can't thank you enough
