    The store was excellent. After we left the store, we tried to contact the local store by phone and had difficulties. We were sent to the main service line and were told we could not be connected with the store, there was no way to talk with local agents at the store, and that we could not be helped without a tracking number. It was frustrating, time consuming, and ridiculous. After the agent hung up on us, we called back and learned that we could connect with someone at the local office if we just pressed "8." Training on what's possible and basic customer service is needed for this phone rep. We've already submitted a separate incident report regarding the experience.

    I brought a package that needed to arrive overnight for Saturday delivery for a celebration. I declined signature so the package could be left even if no one was home. It was EXTREMELY EXPENSIVE to ship - $208 for a small box. On Sat, The delivery team came when no one was home and just left without leaving the package. The customer service team could provide me no mechanism for recovering the package on Saturday - “it might be at our ship center which closes in 2.5 hours. It might not. We have no phone number for you to communicate with the ship center.” If I had been told the package might not be delivered if no one waiting at home all day to receive it, then I would have saved $208 and skipped sending it. I feel tricked and am unlikely to do business with FedEx ever again.

    I paid for door to door delivery. Specifically. Legal and tax documents to my accountant’s offices. Delivery to be by last Friday. Instead. Today. Monday. I find out that my box is on hold at the Naperville Fed Ex office because someone at the Evanston office decided that’s where it should be delivered. I specifically said delivery to My accountants office, not at a Fed Ex office. That’s not what I paid for. And no one told me that’s what would happen. In fact they asked me to confirm on your screen that the delivery address was correct. It was. It was my accountants office. Not happy at all. UPS next time for me
