Team member was so helpful - made the process of shipping an electonic device seem easy and cost effective. I expected it to be hard and expensive. I am sorry I don't remember the team members name - he deserves to be recognized for great service.

I think that you should have a more thorough training for customer service and a more extensive vetting process for hiring people who will directly interface with clients. As someone who works with clients daily, I was very disturbed by the woman helping me at FedEx's 9th street branch in Durham, NC 27705. She was extremely rude and made me feel incompetent. Further, she made me feel bad for not knowing certain things about the packaging process. She also forced me to put a lower price on how much the package was worth. And if I did not know an answer to her questions immediately or did not answer it to her liking, she seemed inconvenienced. It's not like there was anyone else waiting to be helped. We could have had a pleasant conversation, instead I have come away from this interaction extremely disappointed in the state of humanity. Why can we no longer be civil in public spaces? Why is it an inconvenience to talk with or help patrons of your service? Why is it an inconvenience to not know how the packaging and shipment process works when you rarely ship packages? Why did I have to be treated with such scorn? These were all the thoughts running through my head as I left your establishment.
