The damage side was extensive and broken open at the end. fortunately nothing was lost. Three valuable silver, headedCanes were intact, which was a miracle, considering the frightful damage to the packaging. I had made a specific point the canes were a value and needed to be handled carefully of this I was assured, however, above I described their condition on delivery and attempt to hide the damage.

The woman in the store the Saturday prior when I first tried to ship the package was horrendous. She was helping one other person in the store with what appeared to be a complex print job - let me stand at the counter for 10 solid minutes before even acknowledging me. The proceeded to ask if I was dropping or shipping. When I said shipping she said Ok and literally said nothing else to me. I waited 10 more minutes and then picked up my box and walked out. Possibly the worst customer service I’ve ever received. I told myself when I returned that if she was working I was turning around and leaving and would not interact with her. FedEx is more convenient for me, but I’m very close to using UPS going forward after this experience.
