I was sending two flat letter envelopes from PA to NJ. The employee stepped outside to finish a personal phone call. I waited patiently. When he returned to help me, I showed a valid USPassport for the required ID. The employee stated he could not use the ID because it was not scannable. I told him I have successfully used my passport in the past. He attempted to scan it and turned the store screen around to me to show me the error message and stated there was no way to scan it. He told me I needed a driver’s license. I asked for a store card and stepped outside to call FedEx #800 Customer Service. I was on the call for 30 minutes, transferred three times and eventually reached someone that understood the situation and said that a valid USPassport was a valid ID. She asked me to hold while she called the store. I stepped back inside the store and the FedEx employee told me that he was the only person in the store and I could call as much as I wanted. I told him I wasn’t calling the store, I was on the line with customer service. At that point, you want to answer the phone, but it stopped ringing because it had been so long. The woman from FedEx customer service came back onto the line at the same time the in-store employee told me he could help me. I asked him if he knew how to use a valid US passport for ID and he said yes. I told him I had the customer service representative on the line, did he need me to ask for details in order to proceed? He said no. I hung up with FedEx customer service. Then another customer came into the store behind me and he told the gentleman that he had to help me by manually entering information and it would take 15 to 20 minutes. I offered to let the gentleman go in front of me and he said he had a bit of a situation. The FedEx employee then said are you sure it’s going to be a good 15 to 30 minutes? The FedEx employee then began to help me and I was out of the store and under 10 minutes. I asked him if there was a miscommunication or something I could’ve said earlier and he said no. I did not want an altercation and had the valid receipts for my two packages so I left the store. While he was typing my order into the system, another customer came in and he directed him to the Fort Washington FedEx location. I told him I usually go there and he told me that’s where I should go in the future and ask why I was at his store. “I would go where you are familiar.” I was flustered and explained I was in the area and his location was the closest. I would like to also state that he was very friendly when I first arrived and directed me to the self-service labeling machine. I explained that I needed a flat envelope and did not have a preaddressed label to use. While I was preparing my envelopes, he was very agreeable and friendly to everyone that used the self service machine and had a prepared package with a label already attached.

I think the clerk’s name was Brad. He was very helpful & provided packaging. And since I had already put very specific delivery instructions on the package (which were necessary & would not have all fit on the label) he allowed that to stay in addition to the FedEx label.

I paid for a two day Shippment which should have been delivered Wednesday December 31, 2025. My aunt ended up in the emergency room on New Year’s day because she missed her medication, which was in the package coming from Walgreens. The package was not delivered until the afternoon of January 2, 2026. This makes me very upset, because I paid extra for a service I never received. My family is going to have a ER co-pay, but thank God my aunt is feeling better.

I wish I knew the name of the young man who helped me because he was very helpful to me, and to those who were coming in after me. He acknowledged them while not neglecting me.

I feel awful that I do not remember either the male or female associates that were both so kind and helpful, but it was 2:32pm on 7/23 that I came in the Willow Grove FedEx office location to overnight payment to the funeral home for my mother - both associates were kind, compassionate and professional. It made a very sad reality just a little better and small things like that are what truly make valuable team members - please give them the recognition they deserve. Thank you!

Even though I cannot remember the representative that helped me out in the fed ex office at the time, but he was very courteous and helping all the customers that we had at the time he was the only one that was assisting two people at the same time kudos to him and I hope I have him again when I go back to the office thank you.
