- Thursday, December 11, 20251 out of 5Rating 1.0I was greeted quickly by a pleasant and helpful employee. When I said I wanted to insure my package for 500.00, the process went downhill instantly. Julie the store manager whips around and says if you insure it for 300.00 you will not be required to unwrap your Christmas present. I said I did not want to insure for less than I paid the artist for a painting on canvas of my son’s 2 dogs. I want to insure for 500.00 because l paid 500.00 for the commissioned artwork. Julie told the person who was helping me to go to the back to do something else because she would have to do the transaction. I said before unwrapping the gift can you run it through some type of xray machine. Julie replied, “We have to take a picture.” She then told me the total for delivery of the 2 packages which I responded how much for each because 1 box was just dog treats. Julie got extremely agitated and keep making snide remarks all through the process. Please listen to the video because there is not enough room to begin to explain the grumpiest experience I have ever had with Fed Ex or UPS. I will never step foot in that store again as long as I know she is employed there. I have called corporate and look forward to hearing how FedEx handles this experience. As soon as I unwrapped the package Julie said “wrap it back”. I said, you don’t need a picture and she bluntly said “No”.
