I visited this location to ship heat‑transfer printing paper valued at $30 to China. The employee assisting me incorrectly insisted that I was required to file an Electronic Export Information (EEI) form. This instruction was inaccurate and contradicted U.S. export regulations. Shipments under $2,500 that do not require an export license fall under the NOEEI 30.37(a) exemption, which clearly applies to my shipment. After confirming the regulation myself, I returned to the location on Wednesday, June 10th around 10:30 AM to clarify the exemption. Instead of verifying the information or reviewing the regulation, the same employee responded dismissively and repeated that she was "trained" to require EEI for such shipments. She continued to insist that I needed an EEI even after I explained the exemption.A second employee—a male—also initially asked for EEI, but unlike the first employee, he acknowledged that exemption codes exist and ultimately processed my shipment correctly. I pointed out that the exemption should have been mentioned on Monday, but both employees stated they were trained to ask for EEI for anything shipped to China and that China is the only country requiring EEI. This is factually incorrect. I emphasized multiple times that the item was heat‑transfer paper, not documents, and that it was worth only around $30. The male employee who assisted me even acknowledged that the item itself “has nothing to do with the value,” but when I explained that value does matter and that $2,500 is the regulatory threshold, neither he nor the other employee appeared to understand the policy. This made it clear that both staff members were unfamiliar with the applicable export‑value rules.Their tone and attitude were unprofessional, and the first employee’s refusal to acknowledge the correct regulation caused unnecessary inconvenience, wasted time, and an avoidable delay. Additionally, as an Asian customer, the dismissive treatment made me feel singled out and uncomfortable. This is the first time I have felt genuinely unwelcome at a FedEx location.I expect FedEx staff to be properly trained on EEI requirements and NOEEI exemptions so customers are not misinformed or directed to complete unnecessary filings. I am requesting that this incident be reviewed, that the employee’s conduct be addressed, and that corrective training be provided to ensure compliance with actual export regulations. Please confirm that this complaint has been received and that appropriate action will be taken.

I only went to the store because I tried to ship the same package to Dallas from my office, and, even though I was transferred to ten (yes, 10!) people, probably from boiler rooms in India, who were very polite, but could not help me, or find someone who could help me. I can't tell you how disappointed I am in Federal Express, with whom I have been a very satisfied customer for 41 years. I have often sung your praises, and have recounted the story of a FexEX dispatcher diverting a fleet 747 to bring heavy drilling equipment to rescue Jessica McClure from the well where she was trapped about 40 years ago. I tell that story to my new employees to let them know that they always have the authority to do what is right, and use good judgment, and don't need to have me come bless their decisions. Again, the store experience was fine; just angry because I had a newly broken leg, had lots of trouble getting around, and had to hobble to my car, drive to Fed Ex, hobble into the store with my envelope, to get it sent to Dallas. If you need any further information you are free to call me. Pete Blute 713-460-5500

The team member that made my copy and mailed my letter was extremely rude and impatient with me. I have been to other locations and I can say this is not the normal FedFex team behavior.

It was an excellent experience. It is my second year in row printing posters with this location. Last year I printed 50 separate posters and this year I printed 61 posters- email to the store 6 emails because the file was too big for one email. Chris processed my order- nothing was missing and turned around time was shorter than expected. Exelent service!

When I first walked in, I explained to two of the workers that I knew I wanted pictures printed but I needed help with the specifications. For example, I wanted assistance with sizing, paper type, etc. The first two ladies that assisted me had attitudes because I did not know immediately what I needed. Finally, one of the workers walked away and said she was taking a lunch break. That's when the manager walked up and finished the transaction with me. We were able to figure out exactly what I wanted. I did inform the store manager that I did not appreciate the apparent frustration from the other two employees. I'm not an expert on printing services and their tone was not encouraging me to complete the service.

My package, which cost $240+ to mail overnight with a promise it would be there Tuesday by 5:00, is still not delivered and appears to be in Fort Worth and not its destination of Columbia, MO. I was also told it wouldn’t need a signature and now it says it needs a signature for delivery. This was a very important package and I’m totally dissatisfied with FedEx this week. I should get a refund for this delivery. It has a tracker in it and I could see it was still at the initial place I dropped it off in Houston 36 hours after I paid this exorbitant amount to have it delivered overnight. Now there’s no information on the tracking except that it’s somewhere in Fort Worth.
